Blog Committee 2013-2014

Check out the amazing Blog Committee!

The blog committee helps with brainstorming, creating, and publishing articles on the PSWE blog. If you are interested in getting involved with the committee, fill out the form at the bottom.

Cynthia Ramirez (cynth18)

Cynthia RamirezHello PSWE! My name is Cynthia Ramirez and I am currently a sophomore at Purdue in Materials Engineering. I am a born and raised from Chicago. As part of PSWE, I am the SWEetie Sidekick Chair and have been the Social Chair in the past. I also help out on TEAMS visits, volunteer at other SWE events, and of course am on the Blog Committee! My activities and interests outside of PSWE include reading, exercising, and being a die-hard Blackhawks and Bears fan. I will be covering all PSWE sports for the remainder of the semester so feel free to send me an e-mail about anything PSWE sports related 🙂

Karen Martinez

Karen MartinezHello there SWEmbers! My name is Karen Martinez, and I’m currently a junior in Materials Engineering.  Originally from Guatemala, I grew up in Puerto Rico and was a longtime resident of Cincinnati before coming to West Lafayette. Within PSWE you can find me socializing at AMMs, trying to be useful at SWEPrix, rebooting at SWagel break, attending everything social and “networky”, or just chilling in the SWoffice. Outside of PSWE I’m into travel, poetry, croissants and origami elephants. Have an idea or insight for something I should cover in my posts? Do you also love the same PSWE things? Let me know by contacting me by e-mail!

Sequoia Murray (pswesports)

Sequoia MurrayHey PSWE and friends of PSWE! My name is Sequoia Murray, and I will be providing the coverage for all of the intramural sports this year. As your official SWE sportcaster I’ll be making videos (hopefully) highlighting all the athletic talent and fun we have on the fields and courts with PSWE! A little about me, I am a senior majoring in chemical engineering from Knox, Indiana. I love sports, life, PSWE, and elephants. I’ve interned with UOP Honeywell for the past two summers once at their headquarters in Des Plaines, IL and once in Gurgaon, India.  If you want to help with filming, have any good ideas about filming, or just want to chat feel free to contact me by e-mail.
