I hope everyone is doing well! Most of us have dived head first into a very busy second semester. If you’re looking for a “coffee (or tea or hot chocolate) break” check out these places below! They’re a great place to study or go for a much needed break from a sometimes hectic campus.
1. Greyhouse Coffee Co.
Undoubtedly everyone’s go-to coffee shop at Purdue, going to Greyhouse weekly is practically part of the curriculum. To avoid rush hour avoid going between the hours of 8 and 12- it can be really packed. Also, google “Greyhouse coffee concerts” and a calendar of their (free!) concerts will show up.
2. Sacred Grounds ‘Reclaimed’
This one is a little further away, but definitely worth the ride. South of Main Street in Lafayette, Sacred Grounds is a coffee shop started by a church and all profits go towards mission efforts and running the shop. All employees are volunteers. Drink some coffee and do some good!!
3. Star City Coffee Co.
Right on Main Street in Lafayette, Star City is a place where coffee lovers unite. Try their unique latte flavours and their waffles (they’re delicious)!
4. Fuel Coffee Shop
Aptly named and just down the street from Star City, Fuel is a quieter cafe where you can refuel and where you’re more likely to find a seat to study or just spend time with friends. The Connector bus line will take you right there!
Have a great week,
