The Programs Directorship’s overall goal is to provide opportunities for Purdue SWE members to learn, serve, and socialize together. They organize many of the great events that keep members excited about engineering, Purdue, and SWE!

Programs chairs are in charge of the All Member Meetings (AMMs) (Catie Cowden), social events (Sophia Horst), community service events (Chloe Kauffman), and E-week (Ele Chakraborty). The chairs are responsible for planning and running their events while coming up with new ideas to make them even better.

This directorship host events multiple times a month. The last programs event of the year is a combined social/community service event on Tuesday, December 3rd from 6PM to 7:30PM. Come to write letters to soldiers with food provided! Next semester, look for the first AMM on Thursday, January 30th. Some other large programs events to look out for next semester are the E-Week dance (Friday, February 21st) and a 5K “Pi” run close to Pi Day (exact date TBD).
